Al fresco weddings have always been one of our favorite ways to hold a celebration, but post pandemic? They are a must, and this gorgeous editorial by Christiane Taylor and styled by Burlap & Bordeaux is showing just beautiful an outdoor wedding can be. It’s a blank canvas waiting to become a masterpiece, right? We love the French Riviera mood that this wedding inspiration is giving us, so let’s jump in!
Expertly planned and designed by Brooke of Burlap & Bordeaux, this styled shoot that took place on the pristine grounds of the Palos Verdes Golf Club looks and feels as if it was set in the Italian countryside. Working closely with some of the best Los Angeles and Santa Barbara-based wedding and event vendors, this shoot was a dream.
Beneath a whimsically draped pergola, the table was exquisite. The rectangular table was draped in our earth toned striped linen with natural cross back chairs for “guests” to take a seat. Each setting consisted of gold-rimmed chargers, off-white china plates, and soft blush napkins with custom menu cards placed atop. Antique gold-rimmed glassware completed the elegant setting. Adding to the romantic element of the day, the table was filled with blooms of cream, ivory, blush, tangerine, and the perfect touch of greenery. Blush taper candles were an added bonus. Ah, the cake! We can’t forget about the cake! Lele Patisserie provided the prettiest three-tiered blush cake with delicate floral details.
Let the rentals, flowers and decor set the mood through table linens, napkins, centerpieces, or greenery garlands and flowy drapes anchoring the tables. Candles and bistro lights will add just the right lighting to set the romantic + intimate feel!
