We’re thrilled to see this glamorous Los Angeles wedding featured on Ruffled Blog! All of the details from this wedding were so fun yet full of glamour, from the stuffed replica of their cats to the golden qualities of the table settings and rentals. It was all brought together so elegantly by Hilary Hamer Weddings & Events.

The fun and happiness of the day was captured by ‘Lets Frolic Together.’ Jasmine, one of the photographers mentioned to Ruffled Blog how the wedding, “made for one of the most emotional and purely wonderful days ever. The beauty of this incredibly lovely, historic former cathedral (and its glamorous decor) was a sight to behold. Kendra’s custom-made dress and elegant cape from A Bride By Samantha were beyond stunning.”

At the reception, Glamorous golden linens embellished the tables. The party also featured stylish rentals from Premiere Party Rents and Revelry Event Designers. The golden table settings included beautiful tabletop rentals from Casa de Perrin and gorgeous ivory floral centerpieces from Emblem Flowers. Each of the tables was special since it was named after a place that held a memory between the newlyweds.

At the end of the evening, everyone celebrated on the dance floor. Featuring live music throughout the evening from Debois Entertainment and Organic String Quartet. While Smile Lounge Photo Booth captured pictures that everyone could cherish, to remember the fun Glamorous Los Angeles Wedding.

Desiree and Ritchie’s dreamy fairytale wedding was like something you would only see in the movies.  From the stunning floral backdrop, the wardrobe changes to the glow from the sparklers on their exit.  So many carefully thought out details and the love these two have for each other made this a day for the memory books. On April 10th, 2016 Desirée and Richie said their vows to one another. After 10 long years of being together they finally tied the knot in front of their friends and family at the beautiful Hartley Botanica in Moorpark, California. Here’s a special Q&A with the couple.

Describe the reception, what made it unique/special Grace (Charis Events) and Dana (Designer Dana) brought our wildest dreams to life!  It was such a beautiful reception that I could only begin to describe as romantic, whimsical and dreamy.  They did an incredible job pulling bits of inspiration from Richie and I.  There was an effortless sultriness to the theme and decor that perfectly encompassed the nature of who we are, from the beautifully  orchestrated wildflowers and moss that almost seemed like natural features, to the delicious blue and gold accents, juicy succulents and romantic twinkling lights.  The deeper you looked, the more exquisite details would appear.  It was like an enchanting evening from something out of Game of Thrones; An intimate feast fit for royalty.  It would be impossible to pick our favorite part of the reception, we truly loved it all.

What was your inspiration for your choice in décor? Our choice of decor was really a collaborative effort from Grace (our planner), Richie, and I.  We are a very eclectic, easy going couple and luckily Grace knew exactly which elements to integrate to make it a glamorous yet understated event.  One of the main design elements we incorporated throughout the wedding were the dreamcatchers.  It was the basis of our overall theme, as it represents our bohemian attitude, our constant quest for spiritual cleanliness and relentless pursuit of our dreams.  The gorgeous blue and white table runners from Luxe Linen displayed our favorite colors as well as a Moroccan style pattern, a country we have both traveled to on multiple occasions (and love).  Luckily the garden was quite impressive on its own, so all we had to do was accessorize.  It was important to us that our guests felt our presence in the design, color palate, music selection, cuisine and surroundings.  I’d say our mission was absolutely accomplished.

Describe the favors for guests Our guests were treated to mini dream catchers that were handmade by Richie, myself and some of our bridesmaids.  It took us weeks to finish them but seeing how thrilled our friends and family were to receive them made it all worthwhile.  We felt like it was something a little more special than your average favor because each and every one of them were meticulously made with love and pure intentions.  Even weeks after the event, we had guests calling to ask if there were any extra dreamcatchers leftover that they could take off our hands.

We are thrilled to see Kris and Sami’s alfresco Santa Monica wedding featured on Inside Weddings! Texas natives, the pair ultimately chose to host their wedding celebration in Southern California. “We had actually found our venue, Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, before searching for a wedding planner,” Sami notes of her smart choice of location. “Ilana Ashley Events was on a list of recommended planners from the hotel, and we immediately felt like she was the right planner for us.” Organizing their nuptials from a distance, the bride and groom heavily relied on Ilana’s expertise in putting together their dream event. “She was thoughtful, warm, and organized – an overall perfect combination of a seasoned professional and a caring friend,” says Sami.

During their ceremony, the couple combined their different backgrounds in order to customize the experience. “Our wedding combined both Jewish and Christian traditions, as I am Jewish and Kris is Christian. Our ceremony was conducted by both a rabbi and a chaplain and they both added elements of each religion to the ceremony,” explains the bride. After reading their own personal vows to one another, they were officially joined as husband and wife. Friends and family moved inside the luxury hotel and into the ballroom for the reception, using escort cards with artful calligraphy as a guide to their table. “The wedding colors were white and lavender,” tells Sami. “The idea was to create a relaxing spa-like atmosphere, with a soft purple lighting.” Round tablescapes featured light grey linens, candles of differing heights, and small square vessels – creating a modern look – holding snowy blooms. The newlyweds’ four-tier, two-flavored wedding cake showcased the chosen tones of the event, sugar flowers, and decorative hearts.

We are thrilled to see Jessica and Danie’s white and blush Beverly Hills wedding featured on Inside Weddings! With the help of Tessa Lyn of Tessa Lyn Events, the lovebirds spent the next year planning their dream wedding. Wanting a classic, romantic, and elegant event, Jessica and Daniel selected a color palette of white and blush. Hydrangeas, roses, and orchids filled both the alfresco ceremony and ballroom reception.

In honor of the bride’s parents – who emigrated from what was then known as the Soviet Union decades ago – the reception had a Russian influence, included the DJ, who is known for blending Russian and American music. “It is also very common in Russian culture to have another party for close friends and family the day after the wedding, so we had another party at a Russian restaurant the next day,” Jessica explains. The nuptials also included Jewish traditions that reflected both the bride and the groom’s heritage.

An unexpected element of the celebration is that it occurred on the same weekend as the Emmy Awards. As the hotel venue was in Beverly Hills, many television stars were seen on the grounds. While taking a moment to themselves after the ceremony, the newlyweds heard a knock on the door of their suite. “We opened the door and Daniel’s brother was standing there with Kit Harington from Game of Thrones which is our favorite show,” gushes Jessica. “He was super nice and said he watched the whole ceremony from his balcony.”

From the proposal to the In-N-Out food truck at the end of the night, the bride and groom say they wouldn’t change a thing, even if that were a possibility. Jessica adds, “For us, it was essential to have a wedding coordinator in whom we had absolute and unwavering trust in order to let go and simply enjoy the evening. We most certainly did and it was one of the most important contributing factors to our experience.”

We are thrilled to see Gisele and Robert’s gorgeous and elegant all-white wedding featured on Inside Weddings!

The newly engaged pair looked at four venues when considering which would host their nuptials, but nothing compared to the first one they viewed, which also influenced their color palette: all white. “We felt it would give us an elegant, clean look that works well with the romantic feel of Hotel Bel-Air,” notes the bride. She and Robert brought on Tessa Brand of Tessa Lyn Events to help create the classic-meets-modern event. “Hire a planner,” Gisele advises future brides. The ceremony and reception both featured roses, hydrangeas, calla lilies, ranunculus blossoms, and lisianthus flowers – all in a snowy hue. Vases, stands, and candleholders were either mirrored, glass, or alabaster in order to complete the monochromatic design.

Gisele and Robert filled their wedding with personal touches: Their two small dogs, Bella and Savannah, were walked down the aisle with their flower girl, and the maid of honor serenaded attendees at the reception. The couple also selected signature cocktails to represent themselves: Robert chose his favorite drink, vodka soda with a lime wedge, and the bride honored her Cuban background by selecting the nation’s staple cocktail, rum and Coke with a lime wedge. A taco station satisfied guest cravings for a late-night snack. “It was important for Robert and me to have a wedding that was elegant, but first and foremost, fun!” Gisele exclaims.

Hues of golden apricot tones and ocean blues make you want to dive into the fresh Greek Island waters and bask in the glow of the warm sun. What better way than to bring wedding table setting décor inspiration from – drawing upon those colors blended with Monet’s water color paintings. From this season’s LUXE Launch at the Vibiana, one of the wedding and events industry’s most anticipated events, comes Nicole Alexandra Designs and Emblem Flowers table scape vision titled “Ethereal Exousia.”  Let us prep you – this golden ethereal tabletop design is refreshingly breathtaking. Brian Leahy Photo exposes each detail in stunning angles light exposure through his lens for all of us to marvel over in this gallery.

As we have said before, if ever there was a 101 crash course on bringing style to your wedding table, the annual Luxe Launch is it. An event that draws in California’s top wedding planners, florists and rentals who are assigned one of LUXE Linen’s newest patterns from their linens and napkins to inspires their trendsetting tabletop design. The Medallion Cream linen this team was assigned to work with as the foundation for their scene was simple and neutral. At the same time, it boasts a lovely detailed pattern and texture to add to the table in a subtle and complimentary way. It allowed them to use a more bold and fun color palette as well as provided the opportunity to layer in their own texture within the design. With rentals provided by Revelry Event Design, Dish Wishs and Party Pleasers the feel of the tablescape brings forth a rich and luxurious vibe and the possibilities truly are endless. The soft drapery of NFP Events and lighting of High Voltage Lighting give off an intimate ambience. Spring blossoming branches on the green hedges are unexpected with hanging greenery orbs that create a fabulous wonderment to the table set off by Frau Schmidt Cakery individual water color cakes to tempt taste buds.

The gorgeous  classic modern wedding shoot at The Ebell in Long Beach offered a modern twist on this aesthetic. The inspiration came from the venue itself, The Ebell of Long Beach which boasts in class & sophistication. Here’s inspiration from the wedding planner:

“Our creative team was inspired to produce a shoot that offered a modern twist on a classic aesthetic. We were inspired by the venue itself, The Ebell of Long Beach which boasts in class & sophistication. Between the details of its modern chandeliers & rich mahogany mantles this venue is the perfect setting for an eclectic couple seeking a tasteful take on what we know as “the modern classic”. For style inspiration, our team incorporated seasonally rich berry tones, & deep navy throughout the design of our coordinating stationary, florals, & tablescapes. The gorgeous stationary highlights artisan touches like gold calligraphy over water colored fine art paper that were simply admirable works of art ensuring to set the mood for any swanky soirée`. Our sophisticated tablescape design featured lush floral centerpieces creating a fine balance between greenery & florals for a soft natural balance allowing the entire table design to shine. Amongst the soft florals we paired dark tableware chargers on top of a lace & sparkle linen that are sure to enhance the mood in any setting. Our team ensured to pair our style theme with our Bride & Groom’s looks for a cohesive wedding style. The Bride features a beautiful mermaid gown with a lace beaded bodice to solidify the classic beauty & sparkle that flows perfectly with our theme. All while our stylish Groom sports more of a modern “separates look” including a coordinating polka dotted bow tie, known as the most definitive statement of class. Last but not least, no wedding is complete without an epic exit! As if they weren’t classy enough… Our B+G made an unforgettable grand exit posing next to this beautiful creamy colored classic Porsche. – What a dream!”

Planned and designed by Fandom Affairs, this Hamilton inspired wedding took place at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. We can’t think of a better place to have a Hamilton inspired wedding than on a stage in a gorgeous historical theatre!

Mary Costa Photography beautifully captured this romantic and chic interpretation of this musical phenomenon. … So many thoughtful details in this shoot nod to the production. From “The Story of Tonight” marquis, the lyrics of “Helpless” written on the Bride’s bouquet, to the “Hurricane” signature cocktail with “raise a glass” and “do not throw away my shot” drink coasters. There isn’t a single element that hasn’t been translated from the show.

Beautiful gold tablecloths with lace overlays embellished the reception tables. Significant years throughout the show such as 1776, were used as table numbers. 1780, the year Eliza and Alexander met, was saved for the sweetheart table, while chair signs that read “Marrying You…That Would Be Enough” were displayed on the back of a beautiful tufted mint sofa. The centerpieces were comprised of brass candlesticks with colored taper candles, loose florals, and vintage books.
