This stunning art deco wedding was featured on California Wedding Day and it has us swooning! You will love the way our Gold Manhattan, Gatsby table runner, and Taftah collections completed the look of this Art Deco Wedding.
BriAnne and Chris had their perfect wedding envisioned, it would have delicious food and of course dancing all night! The wedding designers, Sara Holland and Jenny Goodman of At Your Door Events expressed how the planning process felt like putting together a festival instead of a wedding. “They love hard and live it up to the fullest in everything they do,” says Holland. The San Diego native band, Liquid Blue, was the first act booked and they did not disappoint. They kept the dance floor at the Historic Union Station alive all night! Since the wedding took place at a historic venue, the wedding design complimented the building’s architecture. Their inspiration was an Art Deco Wedding meets Mission Revival design “by incorporating mixed metals, lucite, warm leather and rich wood married with luxurious linens and stunning florals.” Cocktail tables and guest tables were covered with Taftah linens as vibrant florals and candles decorated the top. Other tables were adorned with the Gatsby table runner, that balanced the rooms historic style. Meanwhile, the table of honor and dessert table was embellished with the Gold Manhattan to make the newlyweds stand out.
“With the band as the nucleus, the surrounding area included a full sushi bar, grilled cheese and soup station, Asian take-out buffet, an epic dessert station and a fleet of food trucks (including Kogi, In-n-Out, and King Kone), all surrounded by an eclectic mix of seating options.”
