Planned and designed by Fandom Affairs, this Hamilton inspired wedding took place at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. We can’t think of a better place to have a Hamilton inspired wedding than on a stage in a gorgeous historical theatre!

Mary Costa Photography beautifully captured this romantic and chic interpretation of this musical phenomenon. … So many thoughtful details in this shoot nod to the production. From “The Story of Tonight” marquis, the lyrics of “Helpless” written on the Bride’s bouquet, to the “Hurricane” signature cocktail with “raise a glass” and “do not throw away my shot” drink coasters. There isn’t a single element that hasn’t been translated from the show.

Beautiful gold tablecloths with lace overlays embellished the reception tables. Significant years throughout the show such as 1776, were used as table numbers. 1780, the year Eliza and Alexander met, was saved for the sweetheart table, while chair signs that read “Marrying You…That Would Be Enough” were displayed on the back of a beautiful tufted mint sofa. The centerpieces were comprised of brass candlesticks with colored taper candles, loose florals, and vintage books.

If you’re planning a winter wine country wedding, there’s an abundant amount of inspiration from which to draw ideas. Even simply having a winter wine country wedding, ideas are plentiful. For example, incorporating a rich red the hue of a Merlot or Cabernet, like the color in today’s winter wine country wedding inspiration photographed by Leah Marie Photography is a classic way to do it indeed!

The KnotAs originally featured on The Knot:

Sarah Bot (30, a yoga instructor) and Blake Foster (29, in finance) met through mutual friends, and three years later, were a newly engaged couple living in Newport Beach, California. The couple wanted to have a themed wedding based off Alice in Wonderland at the McCharles House in Tustin, California surrounded by a beautiful outdoor garden, making their vision of a fairytale wedding come to life throughout the elegant space. The venue was decorated in vintage dishes, teacup sets and antique decor with a color palette of light pink and powder blue, complimenting the enchanted atmosphere the couple had been aiming for. The pastel blue and pink accents were also integrated into Sarah and Blake’s wedding day fashions, bringing the theme of Alice in Wonderland more to life than ever before by incorporating the bride and groom into it directly. Sarah picked an elegant powder blue wedding dress designed by Lazaro that was purchased from Mon Amie Bridal Shop, and Blake complimented the bride’s pastel look with a pink suit jacket combined with power blue pants. Brunch was served at the afternoon occasion, complete with organic blended teas, apple cider cocktails mixed with Fireball and a donut bar filled with sweets and treats, in addition to the whimsical floating cake by Sweet Traders bakery.

We layered linens to add a whimsical effect for this Alice in Wonderland themed wedding. Our Vintage Lace Runner is used and our Button Taffeta in Blush was used as the top layer. Shantung Blush was used as the second layer and 5th Ave in Blush was also peeking through as the bottom layer. The napkins were Shantung in Ice Blue.

Creative partners are what keep our company thriving. We value our relationships with our colleagues in the wedding and event industries. When one of those partners celebrates a life event, and includes us it’s an honor.

Recently our friend Stephanie Uchima, owner and lead designer of Preppy Chic Events celebrated her Bridal Shower with a pink tea party. From the vintage china, to the dessert table, and the specialty paper…it was a feast for the eyes. A combination of linens were used to polish off the look. The guest tables were our Shantung Linen in Blush with a Chantilly Lace Overlay. The dessert table was a Satin Linen in Mint with a Chantilly Lace Overlay. Resulting in a soft, feminine, yet colorful surprise. To compliment the vintage tea theme, our fruit wood chiavari chairs did the trick. Don’t forget those curly willows on the chair for the bride. Fun and flirty…don’t you agree?

What a wonderful way for Stephanie to celebrate her upcoming nuptials. What more could a girl want? How about having this beautiful party being featured in a blog? Well, she got just that. See more of her shower featured on the Inspired By This Blog.
