Brittney Austin and David Ingraham were married on September 19, 2015 at St. Malo Beach in Oceanside, CA with a chic California wedding. Brittney and David met while attending Denison University in Ohio. The pair became friends after meeting in their dorm laundry room and began dating at the end of their senior year.
The groom proposed during a rainy weekend in Block Island, Rhode Island. The bride suggested canceling the trip due to the overcast weather but David insisted they go and he proposed during a walk in the rain to Sandy’s Point. The pair were then surprised by their parents to help celebrate the engagement.
The pair served Margaritas at the welcome “fiesta” and champagne (Taittinger) at the wedding. “When I Get My Hands on You” by The New Basement Tapes was the couple’s first dance song. We were thrilled to be part of the celebration!
