Gameday Entertaining
A Season of Occasions
Football season gathers people through more than one register. There’s the tailgate ahead of kickoff, the alumni reception welcoming generations of graduates back to campus, and the banquet closing out a winning season in white linen formality. Each moment asks for its own table its own textures, its own measure of formality yet all of them share a single principle: intention. A well set table tells guests the occasion matters, whether it unfolds on stadium grass or beneath a ballroom chandelier.
The Tailgate, Elevated
The tailgate has long been the most casual stop on the game day calendar but it doesn’t have to stay that way. A rich linen in the team’s colors, a well chosen print, and proper glassware turn a parking lot spread into something worth lingering over. This is where Luxe Linen does some of its favorite work: taking a familiar ritual and giving it real polish, without losing the ease that makes a tailgate a tailgate.

The Alumni Gathering
Homecoming weekends, donor receptions, and alumni reunions carry more sentiment than a typical game day gathering, and the table should reflect that. Here, we lean into richer textures and more refined prints, layering in details like gold chargers and tailored napery that make returning graduates feel the intention.
The Banquet
At the most formal end of the season sits the banquet. a seated dinner honoring a team, a class, or a season well played. This is where our most luxurious linens come forward: French velvets, layered napkins, and prints with real presence. The goal is a room that feels as celebratory and considered as the achievement it’s honoring.
Dressing the Season, However You Gather
Whether you’re hosting under a tent on game day morning, welcoming alumni back to campus, or seating hundred’s of guests for a season ending banquet, the goal is the same: a table that feels as considered as the occasion itself.
