ONE VOICE A Day for Action in Los Angeles

On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, the Live Events Coalition and California Events Coalition called together Southern California event professionals to participate in ONE VOICE: A Day for Action in Los Angeles. Produced by Sterling Engagements with support from NITO, this action was intended to serve as a message of hope representing 12 million strong as “one voice.” The caravan in solidarity for live events was held at Xbox Plaza at L.A. Live.

When Alec Rembrac of Sterling Engagements was conceptualizing the activation, it was essential to emphasize our unique voice. It represents such a melting pot of all the many event #eventprofs within our industry. Beyond an “empty event” the work the Live Event Coalition has done and continues to do in an effort to unite our 12 million strong as “One Voice” means so much to me and I’m so honored to celebrate that as we go into our Los Angeles Day of Action!

What a beautiful design she created with an aerial shot of our linens spelling out “One Voice.” Thank you to every single person who used their voice for this incredible event! From ideation to execution this event was produced in 4 business days and couldn’t have been successful without you. From the social posts, to the participating partners and speakers, to of course our parade goers, you each played a part in this and we are so completely and utterly grateful.
