This gorgeous Traditional Persian Wedding Featured on Grace Ormonde takes our breathe away! The wedding took place in The Dorchester of London after Sara Ghassemi and Saalim Jumani met in Boston. The couple trusted sought out wedding planner of London, Bruce Russell, to design their magnificent wedding. Of course it was a must to keep Persian traditions alive for the ceremony and Bruce Russell understood how to incorporate all the elegant touches to everything including the Sofreh Aghd.

The Sofreh Aghd, which is the table where the ceremony takes place, was surrounded by golden chairs for the family and friends who came together to celebrate. The table was covered by luxurious linens, tall candles and bouquets of white flowers that included roses, hydrangeas and orchids. The table was also set with all the needed traditional items for the ceremony.

The festivities then continued on to the reception hall which took your breathe away as soon as you walked in. The room resembled a floral forest, as tall floral arrangements sat on each table. The large arrangements were full of white roses with touches of pink as long white orchids hung from each design. Each table was covered with elegant white linens from Luxe Linen, and tableware that had golden details. Plates were covered with custom made napkins that had initials of the newly weds stitched in gold.

Every detail of the wedding was perfectly made to fit the couples desires. But the decoration that was a showstopper was also edible. A cake taller than the newlyweds was specially created byRosalind Miller , who is a regular vendor to the royals. The cake was of the color ivory and stood tall covered with roses. “Our wedding cake was the most beautiful and delicious we’ve ever tasted,” Sara stated to Grace Ormonde.

Every feature of this wedding was beautiful and was the perfect demonstration on how to host an extravagant traditional Persian wedding.
