ABC-OC Coordinator Lunch at Surf and Sand Resort

October is almost over, and it’s definitely feeling like fall her in Southern California. But a few weeks ago the sun was shining, and it balmy at Surf and Sand Resort. The beautiful Laguna Beach resort was the setting for the annual Association of Bridal Consultants Round Table Luncheon. We are great supporters of ABC, so imagine our delight at being chosen to provide the linens for the event.

Tongues were wagging at the Dessert Buffet. Talk about eye candy! Words cannot describe what A Wish and Whisk and Brown Bear Eats created. Simply let the photos speak for themselves.

Conversation topics ranged from The Pinterest Bride, Emerging Trends, Same Sex Weddings, Budgets, and other fun topics that will remain behind the closed doors of the ballroom. Jeannie and Cindy enjoying networking with the Orange County Coordinators, many of whom are our loyal clients. They also made new connections and relationships. We even received orders and inquiries for the new linens. The coordinators loved them so much, they want them for their client’s Springtime events.

Designer Specialty Linens’ own Director of Marketing and Sales-Jeannie Ward, and Ventura/Santa Barbara Sales Manager Cindy Celis were invited to share in the beauty of the day.

This was a day for Orange County Wedding Coordinators to come together to relax. Conversations were lively and honest. We can confidently say that weddings in Orange County are healthy and thriving.

Surf and Sand representatives and staff took the opportunity to show off their beautiful resort, exquisite room and delicious cuisine.

The DSL team was bursting with pride to see our Shantung Linens bring style to these tables. The linens were a Blush Shantung, while the napkins were both Shantung Blush and Shantung Ice Blue. We created a new napkin fold using two linens to accent the delicate watercolor theme. On the patio our Chantilly Lace Overlays were beautiful in the sunlight. Our Fruitwood Chiavari Chairs finished off the elegance of the room. The linens were not only beautiful, but custom-made for this event.
