Kelly and Brett met at their workplace, the Orange County School of the Arts, where he teaches and she works in administration. Kelly and Brett wanted to tie their special day back to the place they met, so strings students from their school played the ceremony music. The couple incorporated many additional special things they love into their wedding day, and their families played a huge role with helping put together this wedding. Brett’s mother and grandfather crafted the arches and escort sign, and Kelly’s uncle married the couple. Kelly’s sister made the wedding cake, which the bride and groom shared, while the guests enjoyed a variety of pies and desserts from the massive dessert display. The couple chose to just have her sister and his brother as their only bridal party, but she got ready surrounded by close friends. Kelly honored her grandmother by wearing her brooch on the floral bouquet and they incorporated the tradition of breaking the glass in her honor. At the end of the night, one of the couple’s friends serenaded them by singing “That’s Amore” on the dance floor.

This wedding was romantic and elegant with a few rustic touches. They chose neutral colors and incorporated greens and florals into the décor to complement the greens and stone of the venue. The rustic farm-style tables were topped with glass chargers, vintage-style glasses, velvet napkins, and an abundance of soft florals. They also brought the greenery upward with hanging floral and greenery arrangements throughout the space. Vintage lounges were also placed in the space to add to the elegant feel. A live painter painted during the ceremony, which is a special momento Kelly and Brett will have forever.
