Intimate Wedding with Ocean Views at Belmond El Encanto, Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara has always held a special place in the hearts of our couple. Today we share this incredibly intimate wedding of Jessica and Matthew and their 18 guests at Belmond El Encanto. The hotel garden space served as the ideal site for our bride’s vision for the day – a romantic, intimate, enchanted garden. A big thank you to Linda Howard Events for having us be a part of their joy and Miki & Sonja Photography for capturing the most perfect day.

Lanterns and vanilla blooms adorned the aisle while a grand floral arch was the backdrop of the vow exchange. There was even a pond sprinkled with rose petals.

Jessica was stunning in a timeless Monique Lhuillier strapless gown and dolled up by Amy Hollier and Stefanie Cuesta. “For my walk down the aisle, we selected an acoustic version of ‘Higher Love’ by James Vincent McMorrow. “The lyrics have always been a favorite of ours, and especially during these unprecedented crazy times, the lyrics ring true more than ever,” Jessica said, adding that an upbeat cover of the song was played for the recessional.

The reception was nothing short of details. Collections of candles alongside varying floral centerpieces by Hidden Garden set the romantic tablescape. Each place setting featured an elegant rimmed charger plate, our perfect champagne linen, and a personalized wooden nameplate. Dreamy twinkle lights were suspended all around the terrace where guests were able to take in incredible views of the ocean and Santa Barbara mountains.

The new Mr. and Mrs. agree they wouldn’t change a thing about their big day. Congrats to the happy couple!
