Palm Springs Wedding Inspiration Featured on Southern California Bride

“This design was inspired and based off a collage of three images of “what can be found in Palm Springs.” When I think of Palm Springs – sunshine, powder white sand and contemporary chic come to mind.  From the accordion menu cards, sand-colored stone chargers and metallic gold to the desert-inspired florals and circular elements, I tied in all three inspiration images with incredible detail to truly represent the story those photos told in relation to my experience working as a planner in the iconic town.  I conceptualized the floral palette with the sunset and trending Spring colors in mind to compliment the earthy elements of the wood and stone in the tablescape. The circle mirror table runner added a chic twist and the napkin band added a bit of art to each place setting. My favorite part of the shoot was the suspended cake! My crazy idea was brought to life by two of the best in the business – Joey at Artisan Events and Maria at RooneyGirl BakeShop.  I wanted something unexpected and dramatic and I am so pleased with how it came to life all the way down to the delicate circular accents on the cake to tie in with the overall design. The combination of the lush florals and elegant placesettings paired with the natural wood table and geometric-inspired details exemplifies Palm Springs style.”
