We were thrilled to be part of this Tuscan wine country wedding! The inspiration came from the amazing brick wall in Franciscan Gardens’ new indoor ballroom and the quaintness of San Juan Capistrano.  It sparked a feeling of being in an old Italian vineyard and family style dining.  The indoor ballroom at Franciscan Gardens has a cozy, intimate feel to it, so we played on that.  Lots of wine to cheers with and bread to break with your neighbor were the main themes we wanted to come across with this shoot. The family style dining element was very important us with this shoot.  We made the tables a u-shape to keep the feeling of unity and sharing.  Each place setting had a small loaf of bread inside a parchment bag with the menu listed on it.  For place cards, we took the beautiful silk ribbon from tono & co. and had our amazing calligrapher, A Fabulous Fete, hand paint each name. The lace linen and runners completed the winery look with the vintage china and farm tables.

Link and Zelda Wedding Inspiration Featured on Offbeat Bride, Link, Zelda, wedding inspiration, offbeat bride

An ethereal and sophisticated Link and Zelda wedding inspiration shoot? Yes! It’s always amazing when geeks go super chic. The Inn of the Seventh Ray in the Topanga Canyon hills in California was the forest-y backdrop we’re craving. It’s feeling very Kokiri Forest and Lost Woods.

Everything from the leafy paper goods, wooden ocarina, “It’s Dangerous to Go Alone. Take This” seating chart, Triforce symbol escort cards, and greens and stone colors everywhere, evoked the Legend of Zelda. Even the rings are Triforce-inspired. Oh, and don’t miss the chairs! On the groom’s chair is a sign that reads, “My Hero” with inscribed notes to the “Song of Time” and on the bride’s, “My Princess” with notes to “Zelda’s Lullaby. Fandom Affairs designed around our Yvette linen as an overlay on green linens, providing the perfect ode to Zelda.

It’s dangerous to go alone… so let’s see this wonderfully geeky and subtle Link and Zelda wedding inspiration shoot together. Click HERE to see the full feature on Offbeat Bride.

If you’re familiar with Tim Burton’s style, you know that he’s got a penchant for doing things a bit darker, bringing out eerie, yet romantic, feelings and intriguing shapes + designs. “La Boheme” Tablescape Featured in Grace Ormonde

We’re in love with this “La Boheme” tablescape featured in Grace Ormonde’s Fall/Winter 2017 issue. Beautifully designed by Nahid’s Global Events with floral design by Square Root Designs, this table was a showstopper at our LUXE Launch 2017.

The team’s inspiration came from our linen texture and colors. Although the linen was more towards the Persian/Moroccan concept, they we wanted to take it a step ahead and showcase a different design. They loved the mixture of metallics and different shapes so they went with that for floral shapes and all other elements on the table including the glassware.

The team wanted a wow-factor for all those who attended. The floral chandelier did just that. Since Vibiana’s ceiling is so high, the team contacted NFP Events to design a truss structure to make it look like a lower ceiling where Square Root Designs can hang the floral chandelier from.

We just absolutely love this vibrant and fun tabletop. Thank you Duke Photography for capturing it so beautifully!

We are thrilled to see this gorgeous tabletop from our LUXE Launch 2017 featured in Grace Ormonde. Click HERE to see the feature. We have an exclusive Q&A with Colette Lopez and Kaitlin Lopez of La Fete Weddings. See more below:

Luxe Linen: What was your inspiration behind your design?

La Fete Weddings: We wanted our table to reflect the natural beauty of Santa Barbara both in color and architecture, the place where we call home. We wanted to bring a piece of that effortless elegance down to the heart of Los Angeles. We were also inspired by all of the beautiful fresh spring flowers that are currently in season and wanted to showcase them at their fullest potential. We decided to add a soft blue (Dawn Amalfi) linen underneath our overlay to add a subtle pop of color & then introduced all the flowers in soft sunset shades.

LL: Can you tell us about your design collaboration and process with your team?

LFW: Once we had decided on our theme, we began searching for the elements we wanted to incorporate.  On the tabletop we introduced textures that reminded us of Montecito, such as terra cotta pottery, glossy white ceramics and copper/rose gold touches. Then, we went searching for an element that would make our table design feel as if it were under a large trellis on an estate.  Revelry Event Designers provided the perfect wood beam structure that was not only gorgeous but very large & stately.  They also provided beautiful custom painted stucco walls for our backdrop to add color & texture, which made it  appear like the structure was against an old Spanish or Mediterranean style estate. The light fixtures and chairs from Revelry added the final touches to create an intimate dinner party theme.

LL: What was the most unexpected element that you added?

LFW:  We loved all the layers of textures & how beautifully it all came together. From the gorgeous linen we were given, to the geometric copper chargers, and the macrame coasters stacked on top of the plates.  We also added layers of sisal rugs which lightened up the space and added to overall design. When stumbled upon the enormous wooden cabana while walking through Revelry’s warehouse, we immediately fell in love. We wanted a wow factor that would stop people in their tracks & this structure allowed us to accomplish that. We decided to drape it in a soft dusty peach chiffon & then Revelry created custom “stucco” wall panels to present the feeling of being outside of an old tuscan styled estate.

LL: What is your favorite part of the tabletop?

LFW: Our favorite part of the design was definitely Camellia Floral Designs flower arrangements. She always creates a stunning masterpiece with her arrangements & we were truly blown away by the focal florals that she added to the cabana.

LL: How did being given a linen impact your process?

LFW:  We really feel that we were given one of the most gorgeous linens in the collection, so it was a joy to work with the linen that was selected for us! We were very excited when we first saw it and knew that we wanted to stray away from what would have been expected with that linen- we wanted to punch it up with color and give it a Spanish Santa Barbara flair.

LL: How did Vibiana as a space impact your design?

LFW: In our opinion, Vibiana is the perfect venue for this showcase. Not only is in the heart of the city- but the inside is a perfect blank slate to design in. You could put any style inside that space and with the right decor & lighting it is completely transformed. We were able to load in & strike within their guidelines and opted for battery operated candles to abide by their rules and were happy with the overall results.

We are swooning over this Italian-Inspired wedding featured on VOGUE! Model Bianca Balti and personal sober coach Matthew McRae first met while she was on holiday in Marbella, Spain. The talented team at A Good Affair designed and produced a Capri experience on the terrace of The Ranch at Laguna Beach. The main theme for the decor was citrus, as it perfectly complements Balti’s Italian origins as well as Orange County, the place she now calls home. Our Campagne linen was the perfect fit! We were thrilled to be part of this stunning celebration!

regal tabletop, eddie zaratsian, grace ormonde, vibiana, duke photography, luxe linen

“Empress Zart” designed by Eddie Zaratsian was the regal tabletop everyone couldn’t stop staring at our LUXE Launch 2017. The altar of Vibiana and the architecture of the venue played a major role in this design. The designer wanted to beautifully accent the space without competing with it.

Customized pieces were created for this tabletop. The florals above the tabletop as well as the candles were all custom made for this specific event. Zaratsian incorporated different textures such as wood, chrome, and tiles. Our lovely Petra Canary Runners featuring citron yellow and grey were the perfect beginning to their design.

“We wanted to bring out the ’empress’ in this design. The linen is so regal, so to make the design interesting, we wanted to create a juxtaposition,” Zaratsian says.

Barcelona and Modernisme Inspired Tabletop Featured on Inside Weddings

Barcelona, Modernisme, Inspired, Tabletop, inside weddings, luxe linen

For the launch party of the new Luxe Linen line, wedding planners and event designers were paired with florists and assigned one of the new linens in order to create an original tablescape. “When I received my fabric swatch for my table, it reminded me of my recent trip to Barcelona,” says the planner. “You can’t think Barcelona and Modernisme without thinking Gaudi, so his architecture was another influence in the design and our chandelier was reflective of his hanging chain models that he created for his most iconic buildings.”

Contrasting the bold darkness of the gold-and-black “Mirage Onyx” linen were vibrant florals in a variety of shades. Amber-hued roses, fuchsia sweet peas, blue delphiniums, and orange orchids were among the blooms that filled the tablescape. Tapered periwinkle candles, ensconced in hurricanes, were placed throughout the blossoms. Gold chargers and flatware tied in with the linens, while silk napkins in a deep navy style – named “Indigo Giana” – provided a contrast. Modern and naturalistic elements were combined in the bright blue rock-like pieces that formed the place cards.

For the model who acted as the bride of the setting, the consultant was inspired by Beyoncé’s look during her performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards. He created a headdress with a sunburst appearance to allude to that moment, while the model wore a mostly sheer gown with a nude underlay.

The Luxe Linen launch party provides designers with an unusual challenge, which is valued by the professionals. “Being given the linen was a great process because you really had to create something from that swatch of fabric,” explains the planner. “You couldn’t come up with a design first and choose the linen to speak to that design. The linen truly dictated the direction I was going to take.”

We had the pleasure of working with this incredibly talented team to create this one-of-a-kind setup at the Huntley Hotel. This sophisticated coastal inspired styled shoot wouldn’t have been possible without Charis Events and Designer Dana.

The team created this concept that came to life at The Huntley Hotel with cascading florals throughout the venue, from ceremony to reception. The team beautifully paired our Caribbean Tangier linen with our Isle Waters Aurora Napkins to create this sophisticated coastal inspired look. Do we even need to mention this stunning bridal gown from JINZA Couture Bridal? Thank you Andy Seo Studio for capturing the magic!
