Moody Winter Wedding Inspiration Featured on Strictly Weddings

“The first signs of spring are subtle, yet worthy of celebration. Especially when new blooms are peaking through snow covered grounds. If you aren’t quite ready for the rich hued seasonal colors to change over to pastel prettiness, then you are going want to soak up this moody winter wedding inspiration. A gorgeous session from the talents of Jane Alexandra Events and Darlingtonia Designs. They celebrate the magic of winter perfectly with a palette combining the moody shades of red and purple while incorporating black, white, greenery and magnificent highlights of gold set against the splendor of fresh fallen snow. A look that screams royalty that is only amplified by Luxe Linen’s statement velvet table runner. Taking center stage is a modern untraditional bridal gown by Sweet Caroline Style and an epic cake created by Sweet Art Bake Shop that make our hearts skip a beat. Thankfully, Stefani Ciotti Photography was behind the lens to capture this blizzard of beauty for all our winter loving brides-to-be.

Setting the tone is Mason Alley Calligraphy with her striking gold on black script. Nothing says “this is going to be a bold affair to remember” than the modern flair of this paper suite. Invitation choice is, of course, the cue that announces how your wedding is going to look and what guests can anticipate. These gilded touches then provide a pretty layer to the cold festivities and details found throughout the scenery. Otis and Pearl’s gold rimmed charges and flatware, additional stationary cards play as subtle accents with a personal touch for guests at each place setting. One of our favorite things this season, is the use of colored glass, like the amethyst and noir colored drinkware in this table decor. Bringing a slight vintage vibe to the setting with a subtle yet modern twist. The bride of the day seemed to fit the role of a stunning “ice queen,” whose Wayfarer Bride’s quartz crown was flawless. She wore separates by Sweet Caroline Styles with a long black skirt and long sleeve lace top adding elegance to the overall style. Adding a nice contrast, the groom wore a tux from Friar Tux with a pop of color tying into the color palette with his burgundy vest. For us, the icing on top is the majestic cake by Sweet Art Bake Shop that indeed stands like a piece of art amongst the custom signage and stationery by Mason Alley.”
