This year’s California Wedding Day Best of Awards look a bit different! California brides and vendors vote for the top vendors from Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Malibu, Ventura and San Luis Obispo.
With the help of DJ David Krieger as the MC and DJ, Editor-in-Chief Lara Burnap and Publisher Thea Hargrove and platinum sponsor Aisle Planner, winners were announced with a unique, CoVid-inspired live Zoom presentation attended by the wedding industry. It was a special moment for us to celebrate the talented people behind the beautiful weddings we publish in every issue. To safely enjoy the evening from the comfort of their homes, attendees purchased and picked up delicious goodie boxes curated by 24 Carrots Catering, Redbird LA, Tres LA Catering, Catering Connection,Field to Table Events, and Vineyard Gourmet Catering. Then the evening opened with a moving performance by Luminous by Etude followed by a video created by Miguel Garcia Studios featuring a look at California Wedding Day’s best moments, past Best of celebrations and thoughts about being a part of the California Wedding Day community and what weddings mean to them–and how we are all ready to get back to work bringing dreams to reality.
