Presenting “Late Summer Decadence” created by the extremely talented David Pressman Events & Lilla Bello featured on California Wedding Day. The team used not one, but three of our linens. They used our Palace Sari Jewel, Palace Sari Rosewater, Palace Sari Elephant Linen and Satin Shimmer Ivory, Champagne, Pearl and Tan Burlap Napkins.

We have an exclusive interview with David Pressman of David Pressman Events conducted by Lara Burnap, editor or California Wedding Day. See below for the full interview and photos.

Where did you inspiration behind this table design stem from?
Well, we were lucky enough to get the linens we wanted. We saw that the linens came in different colors and we decided why not have both? We were drawn to the warmth of it and the Indian detail that sort of inspires the old with the new. It’s sort of the older traditions and the newer trends that we are seeing a lot with prints and Indian and Persian rugs and that really inspired us. Plus the warmth of the colors, we knew we could play into a really summer cozy feel with that. We draped the linens on the floor with a different linen. We didn’t want anything to be old, we wanted modern but contemporary. This gorgeous linen inspired everything. We all sat around and looked at the linen and came up with ideas. we took and Indian, Bohemian, chic, and decadent approach. Every detail on our table is important.

Could you talk through the details of your table?
Town and Country provided the iridescents. Glassware from Dishwish. This table is a Bohemian feel but still so contemporary and modern. We tried to push the boundaries as much as possible. We didn’t want it to be trendy, so there is so much timelessness incorporated in it. These plates are so elegant.

Tell me about your florals.
We wanted the table to feel airy, light, bright. We used a lot of viburnum, big french tulips, roses, ranunculus. There are also subtle pops of red. It less red than it is blood orange. There are piles of crystal with gold leafed blood oranges and pineapples sitting on every dish to add decadence.
