The Ebell of Long Beach is one of Southern California’s most beautiful historic venues. Built by the philanthropic Ebell sisters in 1924, the Ebell with it’s Churrigueresque style architecture has long been a historic landmark of Long Beach and a popular event and wedding destination in Southern California. Owner Alan Dunn of Carondelet House and Tres LA Catering has brought fresh style and sophistication to the exquisite landmark building. The Ebell’s twenty-five thousand square feet of gorgeous event space has been reimagined into a bright, functional new version of it’s already stunning self. There are endless possibilities in the fully furnished, stately rooms of the historic property that include a skylit Courtyard, a beautifully furnished Library Room, and a exquisite Grand Ballroom. Meticulous restoration and renovations have been completed in every room of the building.

What greater idea than to throw a party for the launch of the re-imagined historic venue! Wedding & Event Industry Professionals gathered together for a chic get together to see what the space has to offer. White washed, wood-beamed vaulted ceilings, crystal pendant lights, exposed brick walls, and ornate architectural elements make this venue truly one of a kind, and the perfect location to host a classy event. Each room is compromised of different details such as hard wood floors, luxurious fireplaces, and sparkling chandeliers, while still remaining cohesive with the historic landmark’s original designs.

Old world meets New Ebell of Long Beach…and we love how the party tied in elements of both. Vintage inspired bar and bar backs with cut glass goblets mixed with fun, fresh, and bold garden roses in shades of vibrant pink and deep red. New everything, JBL Professional sound system with speakers and wireless internet throughout, and Bridal Suite with soft lighting and new furniture. For a sweet ending, guests feasted on decadent vanilla cake lollipops, macarons and banana pudding from Tres LA Catering. And for those that favor salt, another mini lobster roll please.
